Gift Certificates
When you want to give the perfect gift but are unable to decide on the type of portrait - gift certificates are the answer!
Ordering gift certificates is simple, you can order them by direct phone call or see the details on my website's Ordering section. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. I reserve the right to review this gift certificate prior to commencing your pet portrait.
Shipping
All completed portraits are shipped by UPS courier to ensure a safe delivery to your doorstep. Each painting is packaged securely and handled with great care. The artwork is packaged within bubble wrap and sent inside a secure box. For safety reasons it does not include mat or frame unless client has otherwise ordered. Prices vary slightly according to the specifics of each pet portrait (e.g. size of painting). We will send a note stating the cost of shipping your parcel prior to doing so. All shipping costs are NOT included in the pet portrait and are the responsibility of the client. All orders must be paid prior to releasing the artwork for shipping. If you live locally to the artist, arrangements can be made to pick up your portrait at your convenience.
How long will shipping take? Generally speaking, the pet portrait should arrive within one week. An Express option from UPS courier is also available. Please let me know if you have certain preferences in mind when shipping is about to commence. We will do our utmost to ensure a speedy and safe transport of your precious item.
Where do you ship to? At present, courier shipments are made within North America. All shipping costs will be posted to you in Canadian dollars.
Payment
We accept your order via the following services: PayPal, money orders, online or telephone orders. If you prefer to send a cheque, please make it payable to Rita Rauscher.
All telephone and online services are secure when ordering your pet portrait. Your personal information will never leave the confines of this website. By making a deposit, you reserve a space in our drawing time. Upon receipt of your order and down payment, we will issue a confirmation note. Remaining payment (minus deposit) is due upon completion of portrait.
Satisfaction Guaranteed Upon receiving the approved portrait, you have a time period of 7 days to contact me about any issues. If a client receives an approved portrait and wishes a refund, arrangements can be made once the portrait is returned to me. We will offer a refund of 60% of the total cost of the pet portrait. Any shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.
Cancellations If you wish to cancel your pet portrait order, please notify me as soon as possible. Full refunds will be given provided I have not started this order. If the portrait has already been started, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $ 75.00 (Cnd. funds).
Currency Exchange All prices quoted to the client are in Canadian dollars. Also, please be aware that all charges (e.g. shipping costs) and refunds are in Canadian funds. We are unable to accommodate changes in international fund fluctuations at this time.
Copyright All commissioned portraits will be displayed on our website. Also, customer emails may be used (whether in whole or in part) as a testimonial. If you prefer us not to display any of your comments, please let us know upon completion of your order. I retain the copyright to all artwork completed by me. Any commissioned artwork is created for personal use only by the client and cannot be used for any financial /promotional gain. Your personal information such as email, phone number or address is NEVER sold, or distributed to third parties. All images or texts on my website are copyrighted, therefore, you cannot use on other websites or promotional material without my written permission.
